I am a Solicitor Advocate and CEDR Accredited Mediator specialising in company and partnership disputes, breach of commercial trading agreements, claims arising out of corporate warranties, professional negligence, shareholder disputes and breach of director’s duties.
I also advise insolvency practitioners on a wide range of contentious insolvency issues and represent individuals on a variety of complex legal claims. Over 25 years’ experience of dispute management has given me an ability to see through the fog and cut to the issues, which enables clients to accurately balance the risks and rewards of alternative options.
I regularly advise clients with international interests and act as a consultant to Buckles’ associated firm, CastaldiPartners, which has offices in Paris and Milan. I have expertise in the early assessment of contentious issues, conducting strategic reviews to align dispute solutions to commercial objectives, and work closely with in house legal teams and management boards to resolve problems by way of alternative dispute resolution, litigation, arbitration, expert determination, adjudication or commercial negotiation.
I accept appointments as a Mediator and also represents clients in mediation. I sit on the firm’s Operations Board and Executive Board and have responsibility for the strategic direction of the firm.
Outside work, I like to unwind by sailing anything I can find that floats.
