Conveyancing pricing
Selling and/or buying a property
Our fees cover all of the legal work required to complete the sale or purchase of a property from the point at which an offer is accepted through to completion and include repayment of any mortgage on a sale and payment of any Stamp Duty Land Tax and registration of your ownership of the property at the Land Registry on a purchase.
Our fees are based on a standard transaction with no unforeseen matters arising. In the unlikely event that an issue arises which would result in an increase of our fees, we will provide you with a full detailed explanation of the issue, details of the additional legal work required and of any additional legal fees which would be payable.

How long will my house sale or purchase take?
How long it will take from an offer being accepted until you can move will depend on a number of factors.
Generally speaking, a sale or purchase can take anywhere between 6 and 12 weeks to complete. However,
conveyancing transactions proceed only as quickly as the slowest transaction in the chain. Therefore if there
are hold ups or complications, either further up or lower down the chain, then this timescale could be exceeded.
We will of course keep you fully up to date as to the progress of your transaction and any possible delays.
Other property transactions
In addition to buying and selling property, we can assist with many other property related transactions
including transfers of property between parties, re-mortgages, registration of property or notices.
Legal fees for other property transactions
We will operate a fixed fee for a number of other property transactions as follows:
Transfer of the equity in a property with no mortgage | £660.00 inc. VAT |
Transfer of the equity in a property with an existing mortgage | £780.00 inc. VAT |
Transfer of the equity in a property with a re-mortgage | £864.00 inc. VAT |
Re-mortgage of a property | £540.00 inc. VAT |
Voluntary first registration at the Land Registry of set of Deeds | £360.00 inc. VAT |
