It is all change at the top of a leading law firm in Peterborough.
Colleen Gostick, who has been managing partner at Buckles Solicitors, in Bourges Boulevard, for the last 16 years is to become chairman next year.
She will hand over the reins to Duncan Jackson, a partner at the firm, who becomes chief executive.
The changes will take place in April next year.
Mr Jackson said: “Buckles has been completely transformed under Colleen’s leadership and a big part of my role will be to build on her success and develop opportunities to further grow the firm.
He added: “Continuity and a managed transition is at the heart of the change.
“We also have exciting plans in place to build on the recent achievements of the firm and there are many significant projects in the pipeline.”
Colleen, who has overseen the growth of Buckles from a local practice in 2001 to a strong regional player picking up many awards and accreditations along the way, said: “Duncan has my whole-hearted support and I am very much looking forward to seeing just how far we can take the firm under his leadership.”
Buckles has offices in Peterborough, London, Nottingham and Stamford with Cambridge opening next year and provides a range of legal services to individuals and businesses.
The firm has established a strategic alliance with CastaldiPartners, based in Paris and Milan, providing a team of multi-lingual, dual qualified lawyers to assist international clients across multiple jurisdictions.
It has also recently developed a referral network for other law firms, BUCKLESconnect, which now boasts more than 250 member firms.
