I have over 20 years’ experience working in the legal profession as a Private Client Solicitor, having started my career as a paralegal dealing with Miners’ Group claims in Nottinghamshire. After completing the Legal Practice Course and my training contract, I qualified as a solicitor in 2009. I developed my career within high street practices across East Anglia, progressing to Director and then Partner at a Legal 500 firm in Lincolnshire. I joined Buckles’ Private Client team in 2026, bringing with me extensive experience across a broad range of Private Client matters.
I have extensive experience dealing with all Private client matters, including advising individuals, couples and business owners and partnerships on estate planning, as well as Will drafting and associated documents. I advise and support on how these documents can work together to achieve clients’ wishes and, where appropriate, a tax-efficient approach. I also have experience advising on, drafting and administering Trusts established during a person’s lifetime or through their Will. In addition, I have a good working knowledge of Court of Protection Deputyship applications and have been responsible for managing individuals’ financial affairs on their behalf.
I take great pride in building strong relationships with my clients and taking a friendly, approachable and straightforward approach to identifying their needs and presenting advice in a clear understandable manner. My key focus is on ensuring clients feel informed and supported, so they can make confident, fully informed decisions about the options available to them and how best to achieve their goals.
Outside of work, when I’m not busy spending time with my children, I can often be found hiking up a big hill admiring beautiful views, running (sometimes very long distances) or enjoying the open roads on one of my motorbikes.
