“It is critical in today’s commercial environment that we have the very best legal minds to help our clients address the challenges they face as individuals, as families and as businesses. And we recognise the need to connect on a personal level with every client.

“Our L&D strategy is critical in shaping the professional development of all the firm’s people, from new trainees to experienced lawyers and to the vital support teams that make possible the work of the various legal departments.

Learning & Development Business Partner, Chris Bradshaw said of his appointment: “It is exciting to be commencing a new chapter in my career at an innovative law firm like Buckles, taking the lead on Learning & Development, which is increasingly important for law firms.

“I will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs tailored to the needs of those in a variety of legal and non-legal roles, with particular emphasis on communication, client management and personal leadership development.

“It is always gratifying in this role, when you can identify high-potential individuals and creating development plans to support their career progression, with a view to them becoming future leaders of their teams and eventually the business as whole.”
