I joined Buckles Solicitors LLP in 2026 as a senior member of the Corporate & Commercial team.
I am a corporate and commercial solicitor with over 20 years’ experience advising businesses on transactions, disputes and contractual arrangements. I have spent the last decade focusing on corporate and commercial work, following earlier experience in litigation and in-house legal roles, which continues to inform my practical and risk-based approach.
My work focuses primarily on share and asset sales and acquisitions, where I lead on structuring, drafting and negotiating SPAs/APAs, managing disclosure processes and advising on completion mechanics. I also advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, with particular emphasis on risk allocation and ensuring contracts operate effectively in practice. My background in litigation means I approach transactions with a clear understanding of how issues arise in practice and how they are tested if challenged. Combined with my in-house experience, this enables me to provide advice that is not only legally robust but aligned with commercial realities and internal decision-making.
I have acted for owner-managed businesses, SMEs and corporate clients across a range of sectors and am often instructed on matters where there is a need for clear judgment, practical advice and firm control of the legal process, particularly in complex or time-sensitive situations. My approach is direct and commercially focused. I prioritise clarity, ensuring clients understand the issues and options available to them, and I work closely with them and their advisers to achieve efficient and pragmatic outcomes.
I regularly work alongside accountants, financial advisers and other professionals to support clients through transactions, disputes and ongoing commercial matters.
Outside of work, I spend much of my time training my German Shepherd (Guya) with a particular interest in behavioural training.
