About

I studied Economics at Lancaster before going on to read Law at the University of Buckingham. Following my legal training in the City, I relocated to the suburbs while raising my children, during which time I established and ran my own firm in Blackheath for 10 years.

My experience is in the wider remit of commercial litigation where I dealt with franchise disputes, directors’ disqualification, shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice, fraud and a high value, complex software contractual dispute.

Given the nature of my practice there was a natural growth in property litigation and so in 2023 I decided to concentrate on property litigation.

My experience in property litigation includes all aspects of property disputes including rent reviews, lease renewals, both opposed and unopposed, breaches of covenant, dilapidations, forfeiture, break options, service charges, rights of light, boundary disputes, easements, telecoms and Access to Neighbouring Land Act and TOLATA claims. I have acted for clients in both the County Court and the High Court.

I always take the time to understand the client’s objective so that I can provide the most pragmatic and cost-effective solution. I have considerable experience in mediation and have the expertise to deal with difficult opponents and situations. This includes acting for clients in different jurisdictions.

I am a member of the Property Litigation Association.

In my free time I enjoy walking my Australian Labradoodle Benji and playing tennis. Learning to sail is on my bucket list.
