I am a Relationship Manager for BUCKLESconnect, a role dedicated to developing our support for members of the network which provides a bespoke service and access to legal expertise. This involves me travelling to locations across the UK to meet with our various members and identify ways in which we can help them.
My background is in working with law firms and I used to run the Midlands and North DX, an internal mail system within the legal profession. I spent 17 years as a regional manager with the College of Law, building relationships with a wide range of firms. In this capacity, I also established the UK’s first 0-3 pqe structured training programmes in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
I also spent a brief period as a director at the Solicitors Group, again largely focused on providing training solutions.
Prior to joining Buckles on a full-time basis to help build BUCKLESconnect, I ran my own consultancy business which supported legal firms, including Buckles.
Outside of work, I’m a devoted (and frequently depressed) Coventry City supporter but hope springs eternal! I also playing a version of golf in which most of my time is spent hunting for my lost ball. My favourite pastime, however, are family walks with a very lively and loveable Yorkie Poo, who has a wonderful personality and is a great listener.
