I’m a qualified French and Italian lawyer and a resident consultant in Buckles’ Paris office, where I’m also partner in CastaldiPartners. Formerly the head of the French-Italian Group of Clifford Chance in Paris, I specialise in M&A, corporate and commercial law, international tender procedures and restructuring. I have extensive experience in managing complex transnational operations between Italy and France, as well as in other countries, including Russia, India, North-African francophone countries and other emerging countries.
I teach Commercial Law at the University of Paris X – Nanterre. I work in Italian, French and English and I’m passionate about innovation in the legal profession.
In my spare time, I’m a playwright. I received various awards for my plays and short stories which have been translated and published in various countries. I consider theatre as key in being a lawyer and think that actors could be fantastic solicitors.
