About

Before coming to law, I had careers in journalism and academia. I trained as a solicitor with a firm in Southwest London and qualified in 2022, taking on a caseload of general civil litigation work. In 2024, I joined the contentious probate team at Buckles.

I like to think that my background in research and journalism has helped me develop a clear-sighted perspective on the cases I handle, an appreciation of the complex issues at stake, and a pragmatic approach to advising clients.

I welcome enquiries from clients on any matters relating to contentious probate, disputes concerning trusts and inheritance disputes more generally. Recent cases I have advised on include: claims to propound a Will; challenges to the validity of Wills; claims relating to construction / rectification of Wills; claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975; breach of executors’ / fiduciary duties; and complex trust matters. I am presently advising an executor in propounding Wills in a complex claim with a cross-border element where one beneficiary alleges that the Wills are invalid.

Outside of work, I enjoy writing and recording music, reading and cinema. I am a keen follower of cricket and (with increasing frustration) football.
