I joined Buckles in January 2023, restarting my legal career following a short break during which I had my son. Having read Law at Peterhouse College, I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2020 with a BA Hons.
I have previous experience working in a Civil and Family Court, and spent two years of my career break working for the NHS at Peterborough City Hospital. I am currently studying part time towards my Solicitors’ Qualifying Examinations. I have a keen interest in estate planning and estate administration, so working as a Paralegal in the Private Client Team at Buckles means I am able to assist with the process of creating Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, and provide support in navigating the choppy waters of a bereavement journey.
As part of a blended family, I fully understand the intricate dynamics of modern relationships and how they play a part in planning for your family’s security and your peace of mind. I bring to my role equal measures of enthusiasm and empathy, and my experience in the Geriatrics and Neurology Departments of the local hospital developed my understanding of the physical, psychological and financial requirements of elderly clients and those living in vulnerable circumstances.
Outside of work I am a mum to a toddler and step mum to a teenager. I love to travel and take my family on new adventures.
