About

I am a Trainee Solicitor undertaking a dispute resolution-focused training contract. In my day to day work I primarily focus on commercial dispute resolution, property litigation and insolvency.

Having completed my Legal Practice Course with MSc in Law, Business and Management at The University of Law, I joined Buckles in November 2022 as a Paralegal and in this role, I was mostly advising on residential possession matters. Prior to this, I completed my Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Westminster. I also received my Postgraduate Diploma in Laws from the University of London, with specialisation in Commercial and Corporate Law.

I was born and brought up in Croatia. For several years, after completing my academic legal qualifications at the University of Zagreb, I worked as both paralegal and trainee lawyer in Croatia.

I speak fluent Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian, which in turn enables me to assist clients from that region to overcome any language barriers they may experience when instructing lawyers in England. Throughout my career so far, I have also advised clients on certain aspects of the European Union law and on registering and enforcing overseas judgments in the English courts.

Owing to my extensive experience, I am well positioned to understand diverse clients’ needs and to advise them in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. My client’s best interests are my priority and I take time to understand their personal and commercial motivations.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and exploring the outdoors, as well as travelling abroad. I am an avid archer and regularly compete in local tournaments.
