I joined our Private Client team as a Senior Solicitor in January 2021 and I’m based at our Peterborough office. I qualified in 2012 at my previous firm and completed my studies with the Society of Estates and Practitioners (STEP) before being invited to become a full member in 2014. As a member of STEP, I am part of a worldwide network of professionals which provides training and guidance and encourages collaboration.
I specialise in Estate Administration and have a particular interest in the Agricultural sector, having acted for many clients in both estate planning and estate administration, specialising in the complex tax rules.
My background is in general Private Client practice and I have experience in personal tax planning, advising on and the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trust documentation. This has allowed me to develop a broad understanding of the motives of my clients for estate planning which can assist in the administration of their estate.
I am personable and always try to ensure my clients are at ease, especially at the first meeting.
Often to my husband’s dismay, I enjoy taking on creative projects around the house. In the last year I have painted a mural in my son’s room and made curtains and roman blinds for my daughter’s room and I have more projects planned! I also enjoy reading, walking, yoga (of the Zoom variety at the moment!) and spending time with my friends and family.
