Raising funds for a regional dementia support charity has moved up a gear – providing people living with the condition and their carers an afternoon of classic cars!
Now in its second year, the car rally on June 17 has been organised by Dementia Support South Lincs, a charity supported by Buckles Solicitors LLP in Stamford.
And among those getting behind the wheel of her own classic car will be Stamford branch partner Sarah Westwood.
She said: “I took part last year in my MG, and around 40 vehicles took part in a convoy on a lovely route which includes a brief stop at Grimsthorpe Castle and then afternoon tea back at Aslackby.
“The event is a fundraiser for the group and provides a really enjoyable afternoon for people living with dementia, and their carers.”
