Buckles Solicitors LLP is delighted to announce that Karl Dembicki has joined the firm as a Partner in its thriving Private Client department.
Karl possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with matters concerning Wills and probate, trusts, powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications, and capital gains and inheritance tax planning.
He is particularly adept in assisting elderly and vulnerable clients, confirmed by his recommendation in Legal 500 as being “exceptionally helpful” and demonstrating “remarkable patience and attention to detail in Court of Protection and elderly matters.”
An Italian speaker, Karl is a full member of STEP (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners) and received the STEP Worldwide Excellence Award in 2016 on completion of an Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients. He is also the vice president of the Cambridgeshire and District Law Society.
Previously a Partner with another firm in the region, Karl has been educated across Europe. He holds a degree in theology from KU Leuven in Belgium and an MBA from the School of Management & Business, University of Aberystwyth. His doctorate in canon law is the result of studying in Rome, where he achieved the highest award of Summa Cum Laude, prior to his time at De Montfort University where he completed a course in law conversion.

Buckles’ Private Client department has expanded in recent months. The workload of the firm’s London office also continues to grow with several new clients, including many based internationally, who are assisted by Buckles’ French and Spanish law teams.
