Buckles Solicitors LLP held its first-ever Charity Footgolf tournament on 1 August, raising more than £1000 in the process.
The event, held in memory of Luke Appleby who was a lawyer at the firm’s Nottingham office until he sadly passed away in 2018 at the age of 41, was attended by members of his family.
Eight teams took part from a range of organisations, each of whom made a donation, with The One Group emerging as the eventual winners.
The money raised will be split equally between the Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group and The Nottinghamshire Hospice, both of whom supported Luke throughout his illness.
