Buckles Law has announced five promotions across its Private Client and Commercial Property teams, including the appointment of two new Partners, reflecting the firm’s continued growth and commitment to developing the talent within.

Sara-Rose Whitehead has been promoted to Partner and continues in her role as Head of the Cambridge office. An Accredited Member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society, she guides clients through the complexities of writing Wills, preparing Powers of Attorney, wealth preservation, Inheritance Tax planning and Trusts.

James Munn has also been promoted to Partner. He leads and manages complex commercial real estate projects for a diverse range of clients, including developers and landowners. Recognised for providing practical and commercial solutions, Munn’s expertise encompasses site acquisition, sales of completed developments and commercial property leasing and financing.

Christopher Grimoldi has been promoted to Senior Associate in his role as Head of Estate Planning, specialising in the Administration of Estates, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Inheritance Tax mitigation. An Affiliate member of STEP, his clients include high-net worth individuals, business owners, trustees and those with a cross-border element to their affairs.

Aishah Areej has been promoted to Associate. A Private Client specialist with a particular focus on Estate Administration, she advises on all aspects of Estate Administration (including both non-taxable and taxable and is a member of the Peterborough Young Lawyers Group. Aishah also finds time to chair our EDI group and organise all EDI-related events internally.

Lauren Godfrey has been promoted to Associate. She joined Buckles in 2012 and has become a specialist in Contentious Probate, advising on Estate, Trust and Court of Protection disputes, including challenging the validity of Wills, executor and trustee disputes, and Inheritance Act claims.

Michaela De Paola has been promoted to Senior Associate. As Head of Buckles’ Residential Property team, she has extensive knowledge of residential and commercial property transactions, acquisitions for development, property support in corporate transactions, landlord and tenant lease matters, airspace development and pension scheme property matters.
