Following a period of growth, nationally recognised law firm Buckles has strengthened its Private Client team further with the appointment of Alexandra Bartrope, who joins as a Partner following her time as the Head of Private Client at Laytons ETL.
Bartrope brings with her a wealth of expertise in the administration of ultra-high-net worth estates across multiple jurisdictions and cross-jurisdictional succession planning and her expertise also includes advising on and drafting Wills to cover the EU Succession Regulation, assisting with the protection of assets on remarriage and advising on the options and tax implications when longstanding Trusts come to an end.
CEO at Buckles, Duncan Jackson, commented: “The future development of the business depends on our ability to attract highly experienced legal professionals with a breadth of expertise and a proven track record of utilising this knowledge to deliver an exceptional service to clients.
“Given that our Private Client team has recently experienced a significant increase in workload , we knew it was important to bolster the team with the appointment of a skilled and experienced individual such as Alexandra who will make an immediate impact.
“With this in mind, it makes perfect sense for Alexandra to join the business, especially given the timing – she’s a natural fit and has the skills needed to make a noticeable difference in the short and long-term. Her expertise speaks for itself and I’m positive that our clients will benefit greatly from the appointment in the months and years ahead.”
Private Client partner, Alexandra Bartrope, said: “My decision to join a reputable firm like Buckles was made much easier considering their well-documented growth – they continue to reap the benefits of adopting a client-centric approach that is supported by a team of experienced legal professionals.
“Over the years, I have built a wealth of knowledge and expertise within the Private Client sector, having provided first-hand support to a range of clients on issues including Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration and Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
“As Buckles continues to expand its service offering and build on the progress they have made in previous years, I feel privileged to be given an opportunity to utilise my experience at the highest level, helping to drive the firm forward at the start of an exciting new chapter.
“I am positive that my style of legal advice will complement the team well, providing the impetus needed to follow through on the growth strategy outlined, whilst strengthening the quality of service its Private Client team currently provides.”
“As such, I’m very much looking forward to beginning my journey with the firm and I’d like to thank Duncan for the confidence he has shown in me to this point.”
