Leading law firm Buckles Solicitors‘ opened the new Nottingham office on Monday 3 November 2014 and announced two more high profile hires as part of the Nottingham team.
Specialist corporate lawyer Chris Faulkner arrives from Fraser Brown and brings with him extensive experience in the SME market which he will now use to focus on legal support for businesses across the city.
Chris’ track record has been built on helping all types of successful, dynamic businesses to advance and grow through providing pragmatic, effective, commercial legal advice.
Also joining Buckles’ new Nottingham office is Holly Smith, as a Commercial Property lawyer.
Holly, who previously worked at Geldards, has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial property work and acts for developers, investors and end-users. Her work has a particular emphasis on secured lending, including advising high street lenders and borrowers on land security. She also advises lenders and borrowers on property finance matters and assists with the property aspects of corporate transactions. Holly is a committee member of the Women’s Real Estate Network (WREN) in Nottingham.
Last month, Buckles revealed exciting plans to enter the Nottingham market. The company’s office, on Park Row in the heart of the city’s professional services quarter, will primarily be a commercial boutique, delivering mainstream and niche commercial services to the business community, covering: company commercial law; employment law; commercial property and property litigation; dispute resolution; construction & engineering; planning law; arbitration; and environmental law.
