Daring, fun-loving and generous staff from Buckles Solicitors have helped to raise over £5,000 for the company’s chosen charity.
Adventurous abseiling, cycling, dragon boat racing, half marathon running, weight loss challenge and donation of swear fees – to name but a few – are among the many fundraising antics which helped to boost charity coffers by £5,300.
Generous staff from all areas of the business dug deep throughout 2015 for EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices), a charity supporting families and caring for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
During the last 12 months, an extraordinary mix of fundraising activities have been arranged, completed and supported by Buckles employees, supported by the law firm’s partners.
Money donated to the charity has also been raised from the sale of old computers and from hot drinks made on the company’s new coffee machines.
Managing Partner Colleen Gostick said: “The support throughout 2015 for our chosen charity has been overwhelming. Staff across the board have contributed in their own unique way, and in fact we are thrilled to announce that 2015 has been our most successful fundraising year to date.”
And the New Year has started in earnest for the Buckles fundraisers, who this year will be boosting coffers for local charity Little Miracles.
Based in Peterborough, Little Miracles is a parent led support group and charity for families that have children with additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions.
