Willoughby School, a Special School in Bourne, has received a donation of £2500 raised by Buckles Solicitors, after being chosen as the law firm’s ‘charity of the year’ for 2018.
Sarah Westwood, a partner at the firm, handed over the cheque to staff and pupils at the school on 5 February.
Buckles organised a series of fundraising events throughout last year which contributed to the total, including a race night, dress down and wacky wig days, and bake sales.
The school, which educates pupils with moderate, severe, profound and complex learning needs, tweeted: “Huge thanks to @Buckleslawyers for their kind donation of £2500 following Willoughby School Fund being chosen as their charity of the year!”
