Buckles Solicitors has acted in the legal process that has resulted in another high profile Peterborough company achieving its expansion plans.
Logex Services Limited has expanded its operations by acquiring another Interlink Express franchise in Kettering, thanks to the help of Buckles, Bulley Davey and NatWest.
Logex Services has operated a franchise which provides logistics solutions in Peterborough since 2002. It is part of the Interlink Express Parcels delivery network, which consists of over 100 delivery depots in the UK.
Lawyers at Buckles Solicitors acted for Logex with senior associate Chris Faulkner advising on the corporate acquisition and Katharine Holliday on the employment law aspects.
Chris, who led the team, said: “Logex is a local success story. This latest deal shows business in the city is booming and the recession is no longer holding back owner-managed businesses.”
Logex purchased the business and assets of Metro Sameday & Logistics Limited which operated the Interlink Express franchise in Kettering.
Clive Strangward, managing director of Logex Services Limited, commented: “This deal is part of our ambitious plans to expand our operations in the region. Since we opened in 2002, the business has been going from strength to strength with many national companies using our ground-breaking services. We saw the acquisition of the Kettering franchise, which also includes Northampton and surrounding areas, as a way of expanding our reach.”
