As part of our five-year expansion plan we can reveal we will be opening an office in Nottingham on 3 November 2014.
We have been in Peterborough for over 150 years and we opened our Stamford office in 2003. Since then the firm has undergone a significant transformation in anticipation of the changes in the legal sector.
The new office will be located in the heart of Nottingham’s professional services district on Park Row. Primarily, it will be a commercial boutique, delivering mainstream and niche commercial services to the business community covering: Corporate Commercial law; Employment law; Commercial property and property litigation; Dispute resolution; Construction & engineering; Arbritration; and Environmental law.
Colleen Gostick, Managing Partner at Buckles said: “We’re excited about the opportunities that exist in Nottingham, which is truly one of the UK’s most dynamic cities.
“Nottingham is a location we’ve been looking at for quite some time as we believe our service offering and strong relationship focus allows us to differentiate ourselves from other mid-tier law firms in the area. We put the relationship between the lawyer and client at the heart of everything we do. Nottingham is a city that also has plans to grow and develop and we would like to be part of this exciting opportunity.”
James Coppinger, who will be heading up the Nottingham office, added: “Our service is based on excellent relationship management. Many larger law firms can sometimes struggle to maintain this intimacy and smaller firms do not have this level of service and expertise. We can deliver bespoke advice but with greater flexibility to the client.
“Growing our Nottingham office is a major part of our strategy and we will be looking to bring in some new faces over the coming months.”
