Michael Blank – Partner at Peterborough law firm Buckles Solicitors – has become a Fellow of Agricultural Law Association (ALA).

The recognition follows Michael’s exam success, and will allow him to further develop the company’s already strong association with farmers and landowners – advising them on a wide range of agricultural and property matters.

Michael, who is based at Buckles’ Peterborough office, has wide ranging experience of all aspects of commercial property transactions, acting for both private and public sector clients.

The ALA was founded in 1975 to provide a forum for professionals serving agriculture including lawyers, surveyors, accountants, bankers and farm business consultants. It is now the UK’s premier independent cross-disciplinary organisation with over 1,000 members including some of the leading practitioners in rural affairs in the UK and Europe.

The Fellowship of the ALA awards professionals who attend the advanced training and pass a written examination a badge of excellence as a way of distinguishing themselves as Fellows of the ALA.
