The government has today announced that the extension of the ban on bailiff evictions, for all but the most serious cases, will continue during the new period of national restrictions. This set to last for at least the next six weeks, which takes us to 21 February.
The ban will be kept under review but, in short, it means that there will be no bailiff appointments until at least 21 February. There is also every chance that if the national restrictions are still in force at the end of February, then the ban on bailiff evictions will continue.
