Buckles Law has confirmed Family Fund as its official charity partner, committing to a three-year collaboration that will support the UK’s leading charity for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people.
While each Buckles office will continue to support a local charity connected to their region, this firm-wide partnership reflects a growing desire to work collectively across offices to help tackle national issues affecting some of the most vulnerable families in the UK.
Family Fund’s work in providing grants, practical support and advocacy to families navigating complex daily challenges, aligns closely with the firm’s commitment to community-focused action, and will provide a strong focus to Buckle’s charitable work at a national level.
The partnership will see coordinated fundraising, volunteering, and awareness-raising campaigns across all offices, alongside ongoing more localised support for the following regional charities:
- When You Wish Upon a Star – Nottingham
- Bristol Autism Support – Bristol
- The House Project – Peterborough
- North London Hospice – London
- Little Bundles – Cambridge
- Second Helpings – Stamford
Duncan Jackson, Chief Executive of Buckles Law, said:
“Family Fund supports families facing circumstances most of us would find unimaginable—often with limited resources and even less time. What impressed us is how practical and direct their work is, helping people get through the day-to-day. As a firm, we wanted to back something meaningful that speaks to both human resilience and dignity. We’re looking forward to supporting their work.”
Julie Charlton, Group Director of Fundraising and Volunteering at Family Fund, said:
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Buckles Law over the next three years. Their support will make a meaningful difference to families who are under immense pressure. With Buckles’ help, we’ll be able to reach even more families with vital grants and services offering practical help and a little breathing space to those who need it most. We’re excited to see what we can achieve together.”
The partnership officially launches this summer, with Buckles teams already working on their first fundraising and engagement activities.
