Prior to working at Buckles, I was a paralegal at a specialised family law firm. I then joined Buckles as a paralegal (and later, a senior paralegal) in the Family Department, before undertaking my solicitor training and qualifying in March 2024. I have a particular interest in advising on financial remedy matters pursuant to divorce. However, I regularly provide financial remedy advice to unmarried cohabitants, and deal with cases involving arrangements for children.
I am a member of Resolution, and I am subscribed to their code of practice. This means that I strive to deal with issues in an amicable and constructive manner wherever possible. Beyond this, I am empathetic to those who instruct me, and firm but fair with my opponents.
Outside of my case commitments, I enjoy speaking to students about careers in law and routes of becoming a solicitor. Outside of work altogether, I enjoy travelling, record collecting and spending time with my family, partner and friends.
