As a firm, we have grown rapidly in recent months, adding Bristol to the list of our office locations, but only the very keen-eyed will have noted the address change for our Nottingham team.
After 10 years in the city, we have confirmed our commitment to Nottingham with a lease on our new, larger premises at 14 Park Row, NG1 6GR, which is just a short walk from our old location on Maid Marion way.
We needed to move to larger offices to allow not only for the success and growth of the team over the past decade, but to give us room to expand.
Our Partner and Head of the Nottingham office put it well in her speech at the opening: “The fact that we have committed to a bigger, better office, with room for expansion and we are actively recruiting for more talent to join us, is a testament to the commitment that Buckles is making to Nottingham and the East Midlands.
“We understand there are lots of law firms in Nottingham and across the East Midlands, so why Buckles and why Nottingham? Now, I’m sure you all hear a lot about how this law firm is different to that law firm, which is different to that one. But I believe at Buckles, we genuinely are different, and I clearly speak from personal experience.
“A lot of the team in this office have worked in far larger firms and yet we made active decisions to leave those and come here. And there is a reason for that. We are genuinely really nice to work with and we deliver big firm expertise, without the big firm price tag.
“When that is combined with the family feel of a more personal, smaller law firm with a clear growth strategy, a commitment to bringing on home grown talent, it makes Buckles a fantastic place to be, not just for us, but for our clients as well.

It was also important that we reiterated that Buckles is a full-service law firm, ready to help individuals and organisations address the challenges they face in the UK and overseas, thanks to our important international legal services offering.
The speeches were very well-received by all those who attended the official/unofficial office opening, which obviously included drinks and nibbles too. It was a good opening and really good to welcome so many clients, contacts and colleagues to our new home in Nottingham.
