Head of Court of Protection
Suzanne re-joined Buckles Solicitors in September 2017 as Head of Court of Protection, having qualified with the firm as a member of the Private Client team twelve years before. In the intervening twelve years, Suzanne headed up Court of Protection teams at two other law firms.
Suzanne has experience in all general private client matters, such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and administration of estates. She is a specialist in Court of Protection matters, including Deputyship and Statutory Will applications, and in acting for vulnerable and elderly clients. In addition, Suzanne assists professional and lay deputies in the administration of Court of Protection and Attorneyship matters.
Suzanne is naturally interested in people and her friendly nature helps to put clients at ease. She is noted in the 2016 edition of the UK Legal 500 as being ‘incredibly efficient yet empathetic’.
Suzanne is a Dementia Champion and, as such, she is able to provide information sessions to enable people to become a Dementia Friend and help improve the lives of people living with dementia. Dementia Friends is a social action movement that aims to improve society’s understanding of dementia.
