James Maxey is a Solicitor Advocate and CEDR Accredited Mediator specialising in company & partnership disputes, breach of commercial trading agreements, claims arising out of corporate warranties, professional negligence, shareholder disputes and breach of director's duties as well as advising insolvency practitioners on a wide range of contentious insolvency issues. James also represents individuals on a variety of legal claims.
James regularly advises clients with international interests and is also a consultant to Buckles’ associated firm, CastaldiPartners, which has offices in Paris and Milan. He is skilled in the early assessment of contentious issues, conducting strategic reviews to align dispute solutions to commercial objectives, and works closely with in house legal teams and management boards to resolve problems by way of alternative dispute resolution or litigation.
