Chartered Legal Executive
Beverley Harrison has worked in the legal sector since leaving school, working in the local area and in London. After having a short break to run a pub with her sister and spending six months in Australia, Bev joined Buckles in 2003, qualifying with the Institute of Legal Executives in 2009 and becoming a Fellow in 2011.
Bev works in our Stamford office dealing with a broad spectrum of matters such as divorce, finances, cohabitation splits, separation agreements, pre and post nuptial agreements, special guardianship orders, adoption and all other matters relating to children, including Court advocacy.
Training to become a Legal Executive involves four years of part time study and five years working in a law firm. The qualification is equivalent to an Honours degree. The Institute of Legal Executives course enabled Bev to specialise from the start of her career in her chosen area of family law.
Being a Chartered Legal Executive, Bev can progress to become a partner in a law firm and also a Judge.
Bev is also a founding member of BNI for Stamford and surrounding areas. BNI is a networking group whose members are all specialist service providers.
What others say about Bev:
"I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you personally for being by my side throughout this crazy battle which has thankfully come to an end! I will without question put forward any friend..."
"I just wanted to say thank you for helping me get through what has been a "highly challenging" year! I couldn't have done it without you and shall be forever grateful for your help and support."
"...thank you for all your determination, support and hard work on my behalf. This has been a challenging time for me and you really went above and beyond and I am truly grateful."
"I wish again to reiterate my sincerest thanks and that of my family for being so instrumental in achieving this position. I am conscious I was ready to give up on justice but for your timely and considerate support. Even within your own company, you stand out for professionalism and, sometimes lacking in others, a consideration for the client's plight and circumstances..."
“My recent divorce has been somewhat of a rollercoaster of a journey, but from my initial meeting with Beverly Harrison I knew instantly that my journey was going to be well managed and supported, and so it proved to be. From the outset Bev provided clear process understanding and also advised me of potential hurdles and also projected costs. Following my decision to stall proceedings early on, Bev made it clear that she would be happy to pick up my case again when I was ready with the utmost understanding of my decision. When I recommenced proceedings Bev was always readily available, either in person or on the phone and always responded to emails promptly. She not only provided professional advice and guidance but also genuine compassion, wisdom and a sense of harsh reality when needed! Throughout the process Bev always kept me updated on progress and developments and was very patient when I deliberated over actions and timescales. This was my first real experience of dealing with Solicitors on this scale and, despite the underlying circumstances, I can honestly say it was a great experience. I approached Buckles on recommendation, and without doubt I would recommend Buckles to others, as indeed I have done very recently. Sincere thanks for such a professional and personal service.”
