Buckles Solicitors employees got their hands dirty to help Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) in their Forest of Peterborough initiative on 30 January.
Under the guidance of Project Officer, Simon Belham, a group of eight staff members planted 300 trees at Grange Farm, near Wittering, as part of PECT’s 20-year campaign to plant 180,000 trees in and around the city by 2030.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that Buckles has taken part in the project to help improve the local environment. In 2018, the firm received a Green Apple Award for demonstrating environmental best practice.
Sophie Day, Buckles’ Client Services manager, said: “We were delighted to once again be part of this initiative, which brings with it a real sense of team spirit in support of an excellent cause.”
