Solicitor
I am a Solicitor and currently work in our Company Commercial team, having initially joined Buckles as a Paralegal in June 2015.
I began my training contract with Buckles in October 2018, sitting in the Commercial Property department. I have since completed a six-month seat in our Dispute Resolution and Company Commercial teams.
Previously, I provided support as a Paralegal for our Family law team where my included drafting documents, attending Court with Counsel and interacting regularly with the clients. I was involved in all aspects of the team’s work including divorces, children matters, financial cases, injunctions and cohabitee situations.
I completed my Law degree at the University of Leeds and, in my penultimate year, I was awarded an Academic Scholarship. I graduated from BPP Law School with a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course in August 2018.
In my spare time, I enjoy catching up with my large family (I have 11 siblings!) which often involves going out for meals. I love travelling, inspired by my time as an English Teacher in Cambodia prior to joining Buckles, and generally enjoy being outdoors.
