With the rapid spread of Covid-19, the Government has rightly told people to stay at home unless one of the four exceptions arise. Hopefully this will slow or even stop...
I joined Buckles in October 2012 before qualifying as a Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution team in October 2016.
I have experience of acting for individuals and companies in a range of matters, including planning disputes, property disputes, contractual disputes and contentious probate matters, as well as disputes over care home fees and challenging NHS Continuing Healthcare decisions.
I have a particular interest in disputes concerning the Court of Protection, which is a Court that has jurisdiction over the property, financial affairs and personal welfare of people who lack mental capacity to make decisions for themselves. I’m able to advise in relation to disputes concerning Deputyships and Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as on issues relating to Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
I have expertise in care and funding disputes with Local Authorities under the Care Act 2014, challenging financial assessments and arguments surrounding the deprivation of capital, as well as advising clients on securing NHS Continuing Healthcare Funding.
I can also provide advice on all aspects of debt recovery and enforcement.
Most of my spare time outside of work is occupied by my energetic young child. I also enjoy long walks with my dog and, when time permits, travelling across different European cities.
