Senior Legal Executive
I joined Buckles in 2003 and work at our Peterborough office where I specialise in Housing law. I qualified with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2008, becoming a Fellow of the Institute in 2010. As a Senior Legal Executive, I enjoy the same rights of Court audience as solicitors.
I have developed my dispute resolution skills over several years and gained substantial experience in Court advocacy. In my current role, I deal with all aspects of housing law both for private and social housing landlords. For private landlords, my work involves dealing with possession proceedings, deposit disputes, preparation of tenancy and licence agreements. In acting for social housing landlords, I cover possession proceedings, advice regarding anti-social behaviour issues, injunctions, tenancy queries, and disrepair issues.
I regularly provide training to social housing providers and managing agents, and speak at Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) events.
I’m friendly and approachable, and always aim to be proactive and pragmatic in my dealings with clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking and travel.
