I joined Buckles in July 2019 as an Associate in our International department. I’m dually qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales and an “Avvocato Stabilito”, registered with the “Ordine degli Avvocati di Roma” (the Rome Bar Association), and I’m bilingual in English and Italian.
I assist clients with all Italian legal matters, specialising in estate planning for individuals with assets in Italy, Italian Wills, estate administration, Italian succession law and procedure, purchase/sale of properties in Italy and Italian citizenship applications. I can also assist clients with disputes in Italy, in either civil or criminal proceedings, working closely with our Milan office, our associated firm CastaldiPartners, and other local specialist Avvocati.
Having left Italy to attend Durham University, I graduated with an LLB in Law in 2005. I trained with a UK regional firm, following completion of my LPC, and worked in the UK for two years post-qualification before returning to Italy.
After initially working for an established Italian law firm, I established a boutique firm in Rome with an English colleague, advising and assisting clients worldwide on legal matters in Italy and working closely with the British Embassy in Rome. During my career to date, I’ve developed an extensive network of trusted and respected professionals in Italy, with whom I continue work closely on matters.
Client care is at the heart of the legal services I provide. I ensure that clients are fully aware of any risks, procedure and costs involved in dealing with legal matters.
Outside of work I really enjoy F45 Hiit classes, and an occasional yoga class (although I am not very good!). I love travelling as much as possible, especially to Rome where I enjoy an aperitivo with friends and family. I also cherish reading a good book, although I do not do this enough, when not on holiday.
