Having joined Buckles in August 2019, I’m based at our Peterborough office as an Associate in our Family team.
I have gained considerable experience in the full range of family services, including divorce, Children Act matters, and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. I am also collaboratively trained, specialising in financial arrangements associated with separation and often act in high net worth cases.
Previously, I was a Family lawyer with a Legal 500 firm for 17½ years. I completed my legal training at the Guildford College of Law in Surrey and qualified in 1997.
I like to adopt a conciliatory approach to matters to try to help my clients avoid litigation and, if possible, the need for court proceedings. I adapt to the specific needs of each client and recognise that they may be going through a particularly difficult time that requires sensitive handling. In doing so, I aim to achieve positive and practical solutions in their best interests.
I am a member of Resolution.
In my spare time, I enjoy baking and history-related travel with my husband. I’m also an avid Strictly fan!
