Eric Mannion

Senior Associate

I am a dual qualified Solicitor (England and Wales, 2012) and Attorney-at-Law (New York, 2008) who specialises in advising clients who are engaged in Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure projects, both within the UK and internationally. My experience gained in previous roles in the City and in house at a Japanese Main Contractor means I see both the legal and commercial side to any issue.

I support clients, both large and growing, to mitigate future risks of engaging in new projects and protect their position should a project not go as planned.

I address a broad spectrum of client requirements, including the preparation and negotiation of contracts, appointments and ancillary documents, as well as promoting the interests of my clients should mediation, adjudication, DAB, or arbitration proceedings be required.

I have acted for Employers and Local Authorities, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors, and Insurers across a variety of projects and disputes.

I try to be hands-on in everything I do and advise every client as if I was ‘standing in their shoes’. Most of all, I prefer the straightforward approach.

Prior to the pandemic, I enjoyed travelling and seeing new places, and post-lockdown I enjoy getting out of the house and walking my ‘attention seeking’ dachshund.
