Emily Malvaso
Senior Solicitor
I am a Senior Solicitor working in our Private Client team. I specialise in lifetime planning, which includes the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax planning, as well as advising on and setting up Trusts. As I am bilingual in English and Italian as well as speaking Spanish, I also work closely with our International Team to advise clients on any cross-border aspects of their succession planning.
I joined Buckles in October 2017 after gaining my LPC qualification at Cambridge and volunteering at Citizens Advice. I completed my Training Contract with the firm, gaining experience in our International, Private Client, Company Commercial, Employment and Dispute Resolution teams. Previously, I attended Durham University where I graduated with an LLB Law Degree and through which I had the opportunity to work for the Office of the Federal Public Defenders in California.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places, as well as going back to Italy to make the most of the food and sunshine. I have also enjoyed singing and playing the piano from a young age, so I often perform with my band at local events.
