I have been advising my clients on construction projects since 2004 and I’m based in our Nottingham office. I specialise in construction and engineering projects and commercial development schemes, as well as advising on procurement strategies. I act for employers (in both the public and private sectors, and joint ventures), funders, contractors, consultants and sub-contractors. My work includes advising on and negotiating standard forms of building and engineering contracts, bespoke construction contracts, consultants’ appointments and sub-contracts. This extends to construction security documents, namely collateral warranties/third party rights, bonds and guarantees.
Over the course of my career, I’ve advised clients on a regional, national and international basis. This spans across all the key sectors, including education, commercial, office, residential, health, leisure, housing, regeneration, retail, infrastructure and energy from waste.
I also advise clients on partnering agreements between the public and private sector on PFI and PPP projects, including framework agreements, ancillary contracts and interface agreements with supply chains.
Outside of work, I’m an avid cricket fan and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
