I joined Buckles in October 2018 and I’m a paralegal currently working in our Dispute Resolution team. Previously, I worked in our Family and Company Commercial teams in the same role.
I have some advocacy experience and have gained an understanding about charities and Community Interest Companies, following research undertaken for our Company Commercial team.
I completed a PGDL/LLM course at Birmingham City University, receiving a First for the LLM element. Prior to that, I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Degree in Physics and Philosophy.
I gained legal experience working with a corporate commercial law firm in Birmingham whilst studying for my PGDL/LLM. I also completed an internship at the Law Library of Congress in Washington DC in August 2018 and was involved in writing articles for the Global Legal Monitor.
I’m enthusiastic, positive and pragmatic in my approach and determined to achieve the best possible results for my clients. I also develop strong networks with colleagues across the legal sector.
In terms of hobbies, I enjoy reading about world history and trying new restaurants. I have also just taken up running, but I’m not sure if enjoying the experience is entirely the point!
