I joined Buckles in February 2020 as a Paralegal in our Family department. After completing my degree in Law with Psychology in 2018, I went on to study the LLM Legal Practice Course in the same year. My masters dissertation focuses on the topic of domestic abuse and how protective injunctions may act as ‘safety net’ for victims.
I have experience in most areas of family law matters at my previous firm, as a Paralegal on the Civil Legal Advice line contract. I’ve also dealt with criminal matters on a pro bono basis, as part of the Miscarriage of Justice Project.
I always seek to advise my clients of options to secure the best possible outcome for them. Whenever possible, I provide accurate time frames for resolving a matter. Very often, clients seek advice from our team during challenging times in their lives, so I like to ensure that people know that they are in good hands. To me, this represents someone who is both legally knowledgeable and empathetic in the course of what they do.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, partner and friends. I also enjoy travelling and going to the gym.
