Community and charity
We have a social responsibility to help the community in which we work and live, delivered through our established relationships with businesses and individuals.
Our charity committee helps manage fundraising activities and charitable sponsorship throughout each year. We support a broad range of charities, getting involved in national fundraising days and supporting smaller local charities with regular donations. We have representatives on the following local fundraising committees:
Clubs and societies
We are involved with different community organisations and groups and attend many local events, including:
- Various Rotary clubs
- Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce
- The Business Club
- Opportunity Peterborough
- Nottingham Means Business
- Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce
- Peterborough Cathedral 900
We hold many internal fundraising events throughout the year supporting the likes of Sue Ryder, Macmillan Cancer Support, Children in Need and Comic Relief. We also raise money annually to help a child from Chernobyl come to Peterborough and for The Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group as well as Nottinghamshire Hospice.
