PFI does not provide good value for money to taxpayers

On 19 August 2011 the Treasury Select Committee concluded that PFI does not provide good value for money to taxpayers.

The industry is considering alternative funding models including the setting up of “not for distributable profit” organisation where any profits generated are injected back into the community.
